We are one year old! Our first keg went out on the 17th of October 2017, a delicious Red Pilsner. To ensure we honor this birthday in style we have brewed a Celebration Ale that contains elements from all of our beer journey so far. It is red like our Red Pils, gifted with hops from our XPA and our Ghuznee Lager, the yeast is that from our Golden Ale, spiced like the Sipping Duck and Long Live Livia and base malted like our Stouts. In addition, Dale likes pepper! All kinds and especially szechuan cooking. This is a unique beer experience that has hints of malty sweetness, aromatic white and black pepper notes and finishing with a rounded bitterness and a back-of-the-throat peppery aftertaste. This is a one off birthday brew, as it is with all traditional Celebration Ales!

Pairings This beer has been brewed with long dinners in mind. It’s a beer you can start your night with then confidently move through the entire menu with an unexpected delight in each combination. This unique beer with taste elements of sweetness and with peppery aftertones works well with all foods but an exceptional favorite during the testing was with creamy and bitter citrus-led dishes like a grapefruit and orange marmalade tart, and a washed rind pungent cheese.
